Christmas preparation

Hello dear readers!
I've just completed a new table runner. I chose this colors because of decorative toys which I've bought before. Today I want to show you only toys and table runner together because I didn't start decorating my house yet.  How it covers the table I'll show you a little bit later.

 I adore this owls. How cute trey are, aren't they?

 Snowflakes are made with English paper piecing way. All this surface is hand quilted.

Tatting progress and patchwork process

Today I want to show you my first seriously tatted element. I'm still learning. This week I'm going to get a tatting class again. Hope to improve my skills.

Rose bag

Hello!
As I've announced in the previous post I made a new bag. It's unusual project for me because of  shape and the ways of decoration. I used hand quilting  here and I don't use it very often in my projects, I made fabric roses using the rococo way for ribbons and created the report (tutorial) how I made them. For the front side of the bag where is hexagons' panel I implemented the English paper piecing  way. So here the photos:

The bag has a pocket and key keeper inside.

New toilet bag

Hello all!

Recently I bought new fabric and didn't know what I wanted to make from it. The idea came accidentally, I cleaned my shoes, one pair of them is grey, so I decided to make a fabric bag and from the rest of the fabric use for a toilet bag for traveling. Unfortunately I have only the photos  of  toilet bag at the moment and here they are:

Hexagon butterfly pillowcase

Hello, as I've announced before I'm in a making process of new pillowcase. I have unusual Tempura pillow (butterfly shape) and I can't find the appropriate cover for it. So I like hand quilting and decided to make one side of my pillowcase from one inch hexagons and here is the result:

I used English paper piecing method to connect all the hexagons. So I hope to complete it soon. Have a good day, thank you for reading.

It's getting cold and time to buy hot water bottle

It's  an Australian winter. When I was in Russia and someone told me that Aussie winters are very cold I didn't believe him. But now when it's our second winter here I believe. So we bought coolers and it got warmer, but when we go to bed its cold anyway. I decided to buy   hot water bottles and make them covers. And here it is that I got:

Blue one was my husband's one while I made red one. He told me that red one is more attractive and looks warmer ;-). I used English paper piecing way to make them.

And the last one is for my daughter, it's very petite. 

The back side for all covers is the same. It's very comfortable. All the hot water bottle covers are 100% cotton and keep hot all night. Thank you for reading. Enjoy your days and nights. See you soon.
