Just for inspiration

Hello all!
In this post I want to share my impressions with you.  We were in a beautiful National park this Sunday (Bouddi National park). The weather wasn't sunny and it allowed  us to walk long time. When we came there we were surprised that car park is for free unlike this one in other National parks. And it was the first surprise, all the things that we could see further were more pleasant.

We were on the coast during the low tide so we could see some marine inhabitants. The structure of the ocean floor is  various. There are so many textures. It makes me impressed.

 It's a seashell which was trying to get some tan :-).

 And a huge sea urchin...

shells and dried ocean plants are with terrific colors and textures...

 But we were more impressed by scenery.   It's all the landscapes which made by Nature. Australia is the oldest continent and some stones might be eyewitnesses of dinosaurs.   Sometimes it looks like a cosmic landscape.

New toilet bag

Hello all!

Recently I bought new fabric and didn't know what I wanted to make from it. The idea came accidentally, I cleaned my shoes, one pair of them is grey, so I decided to make a fabric bag and from the rest of the fabric use for a toilet bag for traveling. Unfortunately I have only the photos  of  toilet bag at the moment and here they are:

It's my first experience with round shape bag, I hope next one will  be better. Thank you for reading, enjoy your night.

New bag for my lovely painter

Recently I complete the new bag for my daughter,  bag for paint supplies. I used a beautiful pattern of Acufactum. The idea of the bag and pattern is mine and if somebody needs it just let me know. Here it is:

Useful stuff for laundry

I  made this fabric bin for laundry because I often wash only one sock and can't determine does it have a pair one. I suppose that it easy to keep lonely sock while its waiting for a pair. So someone can use it for clothes pins or etc.

The stitching pattern is mine. You can use it for your craft.

Hexagon butterfly pillowcase

Hello, as I've announced before I'm in a making process of new pillowcase. I have unusual Tempura pillow (butterfly shape) and I can't find the appropriate cover for it. So I like hand quilting and decided to make one side of my pillowcase from one inch hexagons and here is the result:

I used English paper piecing method to connect all the hexagons. So I hope to complete it soon. Have a good day, thank you for reading.

Buttons

Recently our family has got a new member. It's our newborn  niece. I'm making a gift for her. It is a bag for feeding bottles. Its in process. But I can't determine what buttons is better to decorate it.. The design of these buttons  is mine. And I suppose that for chosen fabrics the fist one is better:

This picture is for evaluation the buttons size. It's my favorite thimble.

I've already made the pattern, when I complete I show you result and upload the patterns.

Two vivid pillows + one petite hippo

I still making my home cozy.This week I've completed to make 2 pillow cover for bedroom. I' m in process of making third one. I show it a little bit later.

The design of this pillow is mine. My hubby presented me a program (EQ 7) to make the design process easier. Thanks him a lot.
When I completed the pillow covers I found a pink fabric which I bought a long time ago. I don't remember how I  decided to sew a little lady hippo, but I'm fully satisfied the results. Please meet the pink lady hippo:

She is so cute, isn't she?
